"How do  become mentally strong?"

#1 - Mental Health
Mental health has more to do with your diet than all the other factors combined. I can’t exhaust the list of foods that can greatly enhance mental health, but all I can tell you is that, avoid saturated fats and bad cholesterol.
Eat lots of fruits and vegetables, which are rich in vitamins and minerals. If your body requires sugar, consume lots of honey, which is rich in fructose sugar, and avoid processed sucrose sugar.
Eat lots of cereals that are rich in proteins and avoid red meat. Eat food rich in Lipids, Sterols, and vitamins and avoid fats.
#2 - Physical Health/Exercise
If the rest of your body is healthy, your brain will be healthy. But eating alone isn’t going to improve your physical health, and certainly, your brain health.
Exercise is second to none. It is recommended by physicians, doctors, nutritionists, and psychiatrists.
A proper diet coupled with regular exercise prolongs a healthy steak of life and keeps the doctor at bay, which also improves your financial status.

#3 - Just Be Happy
Doctors tell us that being happy improves blood circulation and increases oxygen flow into all the cells of the body including brain cells. But, did you know that you can actually trigger happiness by starting a good laugh?
Laughter is the best medicine.
You can do this alone or with a group of people, at work, or at home. Watch out you don’t offend the boss, otherwise, you’ll get fired. You can also do it on a commuter train or bus. Laughing is so infectious that it tricks the brain into thinking that you’re happy.
The brain doesn’t distinguish between faking and the real thing. Laughter Clubs or Laughter Yoga Clubs, started in India but have now spread across the world.
Typically, a group of people meet every morning in a public park and just start laughing for about 30 minutes before they go to work or start their daily activities.
Before you know it, the crowd starts to swell and everybody is laughing. They say that a good day starts with a good laugh and that starts in the morning.
A study found that laughing prevents modern diseases like depression, anxiety, and dementia.

#5 - Play
Ever heard the phrase: “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”?
Don’t be too serious with life. You have only one life to live, and you are expected to enjoy it and live it to the full. Some people pretend to be ‘too busy’ but what they’re actually doing is keeping away from people.
People who practice this habit only expose themselves to the risks of cardiac-related diseases like heart attacks or cardiac arrest. to even share their time with anybody. Life is not your alone, though and you are not expected to spend the rest of your life hiding in a rock.
Mingle with people and make your life both exciting and adventurous and you can be assured of a healthy, happy life full of mental health and strength.
#6 - Cold Shower
The list would be incomplete without including this. I actually have been doing this for years and I’ve seen my body, mind, and spirit improve so significantly that I can’t do without it.
Taking a cold shower every morning enhances the immune system and improves alertness and brain activity. It causes every muscle of the body to become alert and active. It enhances memory. It enhances body discipline, and I can’t think of a better way to keep yourself alert especially if you slept late last night.
#7 - Positivity
Positivity is the ability to maintain a strong mental focus toward your goal and believing that it is achievable.
I think it is worth mentioning that maintaining a positive focus increases your faith, and has something to do with your general mental attitude and all the other factors considered.
Needless to say that people who exude positivity display strong faith in themselves, in life, in God and in whatever they do.
#8 - Reading, Reading, Reading
Reading is to the mind what physical exercise is to the body. There’s no better way to keep the mind engaged and in good shape than reading books.
Read religious books. Read business books. Read technical books. Read history books. Read psychology books. Read philosophy books. Read storybooks. Read just about any books. Just keep reading.
In fact, it is scientifically proven that the brain is elastic—at least, some parts of it, which means it has the ability to expand or contract.
This means if you stop reading your brain contracts—the parts that are responsible for retaining knowledge, lose knowledge, and it becomes difficult for the brain to retain knowledge.
#9 - Maintaining Love/Relationships
They say that behind every successful man or woman, there’s a man or a woman. That means having a strong relationship contributes immensely to your success and happiness.
I’m not saying that everyone should marry or everyone should be in a relationship, but in my case, I’ve seen that it has actually helped me to maintain sanity. I don’t know what I would have done without it, and I’ve been married for 25 years now.
#10 - Meditate
Meditation and prayer help maintain a healthy spirit. Spirit is not a ghost—it is your inner person or inner being. Yes, your spirit is as real as YOU and if you don’t believe it, try this:
